I was recently asked to do a video on explaining the histogram. My style of talking is 'non tech' lol, so hopefully it'll help you understand this more technical video.
The histogram is one of the best tools to determine whether your exposure is correct in camera. You simply can't rely on what you see in the LCD as it can often be wrong. However, your histogram never lies - so learn to read it and you have a foolproof way of telling whether your exposure is spot on.
And check the price of petrol in NZ in the first image! Wow it totally blew us away and explained why there were so many small cars over there!
